Starting to fully texture the level
During this week I wanted to start to fully texture the models that have not been textured and add them into the level so It can be closer to being finished but also to improve the looks of it so that its not just a bunch of untextured models. The models I focused on texturing this week where the buildings, Street light and all the bin models and once that is done focusing on putting them into the scene.

Before textures can be put into unity and applied on to the models I first have to apply them within blender so that when I do put them into unity and fit onto the models as they should rather than the entire texture files not being on them properly.
Doing this is rather simple and takes a few steps to achieve. When in blender you need to first add a new material and add an image texture and from then find the texture that you want to apply. Once that is done you want to creating to screens, One in the object view and the other in the the UV editor. Select the texture from the top of the screen this then allows you to apply the texture more precisely to how you want it. Once done all you need to do is save and export the model and put it into unity with the texture file as well. Once all that's done you can put the texture onto the model and it will apply properly.
